We hope this information finds you well and that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy.
Tomorrow’s Stars Basketball is closely monitoring the Coronavirus outbreak and any changes to restrictions on a daily basis. All of the decisions we make are guided by the advice of authorities including the World Health Organisation and Victoria’s Chief Medical Office.
At this stage we are not making any changes to our basketball programs, however we will be implementing suggested measures to ensure we keep everyone safe and healthy. These include measures to ensure that anyone with potential Covid symptoms are not permitted to attend any of our programs and that all participants in any of our programs ensure they abide by our rigorous infection control procedures.
Coronavirus is a respiratory illness caused by a virus. Symptoms range from a mild cough to pneumonia. The majority of people recover easily and only experience very mild symptoms. There is evidence that it spreads from person to person however good hygiene can prevent infection.
During Our Basketball Programs All Children and Coaching Staff will Ensure:
*Regularly washing of hands. This is the best protection against transmission.
*Hand sanitiser will be available for use at all venues.
*Children will be reminded to cough or sneeze into their elbows, not hands.
Players Feeling Unwell:
As per advice from health authorities, if any player has flu-like symptoms, you should seek your doctor’s advice and not attend any of our basketball programs.
If any player attends any of our basketball programs and appears or reports being unwell, they will not be able to participate in the program and will be required to leave the venue.
We continue to closely monitor the ongoing Victorian Government and World Health Organisation advice and will only run programs if it is deemed safe to do so. Once again, we appreciate your continued patience, support, and cooperation throughout these challenging times.
We’re all in this together, and we’ll get through this together. Stay safe and healthy, and we wish all the best to our customers, their families, and everyone in between.
